That year, Arminio Bühler, a man full of courage and creativity, joined forces with a few partners and started an enterprise to enjoy and market the cowhides.
Overcoming is the key word
The difficulties were many, and the entrepreneur’s mind bustled with plans to overcome the constraints: poor roads, carriage and mule transport, messenger communication on horseback, no source of electric power to move the machinery, and the manpower of Settlers, who needed to be trained in the art of tanning leather.
Passion moves man
The few existing machinery was driven by a gas-fueled motor, drying and stacking were performed manually, tiring and not very productive; Yet the end result was passionate: a piece of handcrafted leather, a matter of a thousand uses in front of the imagination of the professional and the artist. It was the passion for the process and its result that encouraged Mr. Arminio to continue on his journey.
From the past to the present day
Over the years and the development of the region, that small village of few resources where tannery A. Bühler was born became part of one of the largest poles of leather and footwear production in Brazil and in the world. In this context, the company can count on the main resources to guarantee the adequate raw material for the manufacture of its products, which are the availability of specialized technical manpower and the leather supply of a vast herd of cattle.

Through its structure, machinery, technology and specialized workmanship, A. Bühler tannery has an installed capacity to produce 250,000 square meters of finished cowhide / month, with approximately 400 employees in a 27,000 square meter .

All manufactured on cowhide of Brazilian origin, tanned to chrome or vegetable and finished with the best chemicals available in the international market.
